I have been working on the planning stages of Anna-Lynn Grace for over a year now and I’m really excited to be in the writing process! (Finally!!) So when I began writing this and was approached by another author to be a guest author on her children’s book launch party, I couldn’t have been more ecstatic.
I realized though that while I can take 1000+ words to try and tell people about Anna-Lynn Grace, people don’t really stay interested for that long…so I had to come up with some way to draw their attention to the series, even though it isn’t fully written yet….let alone published. So I spent some time working on some concept cover art for the series itself and didn’t get very far.
When I approached my street team with the idea, they were all thrilled to give their input! Then one of my favorite designer friends offered to help me out with some concept cover art and I quickly accepted her help. She ended up coming up with three beautiful designs.
I really loved what she did and once again put it up to my street team to let me know what they liked. In the end I ended up choosing this one, due to the easy read text, the way the texture on the bottom of the dress gives her a more 3D look and just the whimsy of the picture.
Anywho, I’m super excited to be a guest author of Laura Salisbury’s book launch. If you want to join the party for the launch of her newest book Forever Settled In My Heart, then click here to join the party on Facebook.
The party is on October 18th, and you can come in your jammies because the party is online! Grab some popcorn and cocoa and settle in for some great prizes and lots of fun!
